Day 4 without ao3. It is absolute chaos. At dawn, the children brought a dead dove inside the house and told me not to eat it. After that, they wept, saying it reminded them of their father. I sent a messenger pigeon to ao3, but I fear it, too, may die like the dove.

Day 3 without ao3. The children are turning against me. They are wasting rations and clawing at the walls. I tried to soothe them by reading a story from fanfiction dot net… but they did not like it. At all. They still want their father. It’s getting grim. I’m losing hope.
