Introducing πŸ’Ύmoi: a generative workspace where agents builds their own UI. ✴ Skill for Claude Code, Codex, Hermes & OpenClaw ✴ Your agent extends the UI with full-stack widgets and pages ✴ Continues to live as copilot in these apps ✴ Build live dashboards, personal software, company OS ✴ Work with the agent together on a shared canvas, apply themes, modify the UI on the fly The future of software is agentic, personalised and adaptive

I ported @vercel's fx coding agent to Windows 98 it talks to an LLM over a 56k modem and supports computer use (via MCP.exe) I now proudly run my own gamedev studio from 1999 my agents email each other in Outlook and store code on a network drive (git was not invented yet, sorry) good times

Slow down AI now!. I gave Astra full control over a 3d printer and asked it to β€œsurprise me”, so it built… a fidget spinner. i then sent it an illustration a friend made and it designed the whole model from scratch and printed it! Next: remove the filament and let it work until it finds an exploit and restocks

Very proud to be in the list!
β–² ~/πš›πšŠπšžπšŒπš‘πš/𝚘𝚜𝚜-πšπš›πšŠπš—πšπšœ/ πš•πšœβ– (v2) I'm announcing v2 of my open source grants of $1,000USD to 35 awesome contributors. The themes: β‘  Agent skills & tools Skills are now a valuable form of software, like Emil's world-class design eng work. Projects like πš™πšπš‹πš˜πš, πš”πš—πš’πš™, πšžπš—πš•πš’πšπš‘πšπš‘πš˜πšžπšœπšŽ create amazing AI engineering loops. β‘‘ Local AI Projects like πšœπš•πš˜πšπšœπšπš›πšŽπšŠπš–, π™»πš˜πšŒπšŠπš•π™°π™Έ, and πšŒπš˜πš•πš’πš‹πš›πš’ are making inference not just a demo but for many a real and growing utility. Exciting to watch local AI unfold. β‘’ Performance There's no excuse for software to be slow anymore. Projects like 𝚏𝚏𝚏 and πšπšŠπš”πšžπš–πš’ leading with speed, compilers like π™ΏπšŽπš›πš›πš’πšƒπš‚ and πš™πš˜πš›πšπšπš˜πš› that can help us upgrade entire ecosystems to native, and πšπš™πšžπš’πš‘ pushing the GPU rendering speed frontier. β‘£ High quality foundations AI is still at its best when it can reuse great components than regenerating every time from first principles. Lots of love to folks working on @shadcn, Svelte(kit), Nuxt, Node.js and security foundations. β‘€ Cool experiments I couldn't resist donating to gloom.sh, a 'Finance terminal in the terminal', or beautiful funky things like πšπš’πšπš‘πšŽπš›-πš”πš’πš. πŸ”— rauchg-oss-grants.vercel.app… PS: These are personal, not affiliated with Vercel, and fully unconditional. If you are listed, I'll be DM'ing you or using your public contact info!

two features we shipped in moi: - agent blobs are now customisable, powered by `blobatar` lib by @alain_0012. an agent can even change its own design if you ask it to - "pen tool": takes a screenshot of the page that you can draw on and attaches to the chat
funmaxxxing agents in moi.computer moi is intentionally built around the ui, not agents, but making these folks a little more customizable never hurts. courtesy of a beautiful open-source lib by @alain_0012 πŸ’ž

every five years or so I rewatch this dude's talks. hard to imagine how much of the software we use today was shaped by what he said in that liminal room. this was almost 15 years ago. so I wonder who's the new Bret Victor these days ?

best part of building is actually *using* what you've built for your real tasks. it can be frustrating if some things don't work well, but then there's that moment of "oh. it actually does the job!"

this spoiler particle animation is now finally possible in Safari! it used paint worklets from CSS Houdini that sadly are *not* yet working in Safari, but someone was kind enough to implement a fully working canvas-based fallback try now in React: `npm i spoiled`
