This made me smile. We all know the feeling.

Been a long old week and it’s only Wednesday. Nothing worse than being unable to help a friend, especially a favourite. Pancreatic cancer is brutal.

Sauna. Tell me this isn’t supposed to be a pleasure. It’s the home of the devil.

Archie has achieved his goal. @andyburnham could learn a lot from this guy. The tenacity of a 25 year old with an inoperable brain cancer should not be underestimated.

Spent the night in a treehouse last week. Zero adults were consulted. 100% would regress again.

So true.
Never ignore someone who genuinely makes an effort to stay in touch. A lot of people don’t care as much as you think, so when someone remembers to text, call or check in on you, give them your attention. Genuine effort is rare.

How horrendous. Poor animals.
More than 80 dogs were left to "breed by themselves" among their own urine and faeces at this house in Yorkshire. A Doncaster social worker has been found guilty of failing to ensure their welfare. Read more: bbc.in/3U0e01I

I don’t know what strikes me more: the desperation, or a mother letting her baby go, thinking they’d have a better life.
Front page of the Daily Express today. Hopefully this kind of coverage helps move the conversation forward and gets the reality of what is happening in front of a much wider audience. That is what matters. The more people who see it, the harder it becomes to ignore. Mainstream media reaches a very different audience to social media, so getting these images out there can only help people understand what is happening. For me, this has always been about the story, not who is behind the camera. If the footage helps inform the conversation and eventually contributes to change, then it has done its job.

I am starting to realise we cannot go on indefinitely as we are. It concerns me how it will eventually end. Where is the line drawn if we don’t have a government to do it for us?
This is an incredible speech by @antmiddleton. Every single second of this 3:22 video hits hard. The focus on standards at the beginning especially resonated with me. Standards across the entire country are slipping before our very eyes, not just in Portsmouth. Then he talks about demoralised citizens who no longer feel safe in their own communities. Portsmouth. Dover. Piddington. Brighton. Middlesbrough. In recent years we have seen people from towns and cities across Britain saying they feel unsafe in their own country for the first time, particularly women and families. A speech like this will inevitably fuel calls for Ant Middleton to take the next step into frontline politics. I personally want people like Ant Middleton representing Britain as MPs. Watch the full 3:22. It’s worth every second.

Concerns have been raised across the medical profession about unhelpful and inappropriate blurring of the distinction between doctors and non-medically qualified staff. Our new report details safety concerns we have received relating to advanced practitioners. You can read the full report on our website bma.org.uk/our-campaigns/all…

On Wednesday I watched my mother have a stroke. Today she is going home from hospital. Getting clot busting drugs is time limited and acting quickly is imperative. If you aren’t sure what to look for, here is a reminder. nhs.uk/conditions/stroke/sym…
