Well, today was my last day @LiveLancs and @CumbriaLive. It's been a great two and a half years since starting in June 2021. It's been a tough week this week, but wow what an adventure. I cannot thank the team, past and present, who have helped me along the way.
My colleagues have always been there to support me and I've learned so much. Cumbria is a massive county and it's been a challenge to cover it mostly on my own with the help of the team for live news and longer reads. But, I've learned a lot along the way.
Can't thank the team at @KendalCalling and @alexsuttonpr enough for this hamper. Christmas has come early to Cumbria!

The second game of the 2023 Uppies and Downies - a version of Hand Ba game, with roots in even earlier games - took place today (Tuesday, April 11, 2023) in Workington, West Cumbria, England.

All I can hear upstairs is the patter of my cats paws as she runs, full-pelt I might add, from one room to another! 😻

In an industry that was traditionally dominated by men, I am so lucky to work with so many amazing women. These journalists are setting the news agenda with fresh ideas and are putting their heart and soul into a job that is often seen as cold and soulless (1/2)
