finished my legend of hei ii rewatch! i def am able to appreciate the character dynamic more now that i have bg of the 1st movie id also say the animation and art drastically improve in a sense that theres way more cuts, way more setting, etc. i just hope that means the 1st--

i love how fast xiaohei picks up on stuff but hes also still a kid? he still has a very strong resolve on doing whats right but he knows that things arent as clear cut or easy to define sometimes i also love how they treat him as wuxian's disciple first and a kid second

i used to get mistaken as a boy alot and that was on purpose id have ppl ask me if i want to transition and id always tell them i dont want to be a guy i just dont want to be opressed for my gender ive already grown up in opression, changing my gender doesnt erase that
