“During the Biden administration, the US began more broadly restricting sales of A.I. chips to China out of concern the technology would help China advance militarily. But Mr. Trump eased some of those limits after lobbying by Nvidia’s chief executive, Jensen Huang.”

BREAKING: Iran announces it has now lifted its self-imposed 2,000 kilometre range limit on ballistic missiles, bringing targets in Europe and remote US military bases in reach.
"This restriction has been lifted for us," IRGC spokesman Mohebbi said, adding that "Today, any point from which we feel a serious threat to the country can be our target."
It follows an order from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who told commanders to prepare an "immediate and geographically unrestricted response to any threat" and to demonstrate the capability in practice rather than make statements.
Iran's Khorramshahr missile is already assessed to reach around 3,000 km, and in March 2026 Iran launched two of them toward Diego Garcia around 4,000 km away, suggesting an even greater reach.

BREAKING: The US has just issued new security alerts for Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Lebanon, warning all Americans of sudden escalation in the Middle East causing severe flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions.
The alert also warns of an "increased threat of armed attacks by Iran targeting US government officials in the region."
The alerts come after a US fighter jet strike on an Iranian missile launcher on Qeshm Island a short while ago, and Iran's issuance of Code 100, its highest level of alert, for all armed forces.

The @FBI and our partners are seeing malicious cyber activity targeting industrial refrigeration and cold-chain monitoring systems around the world. These systems help keep food, medicine, and other products at safe temperatures and are widely used across critical infrastructure sectors.
Attackers are targeting electronic temperature and refrigeration controllers, particularly in grocery stores and cold storage facilities. In at least one recent incident, attackers targeted refrigeration components at three foreign blood service facilities.
While this attack was unsuccessful due to the proper alert mechanisms in place, security weaknesses in unpatched or internet-accessible controllers can allow attackers to change system settings, potentially causing inventory loss and equipment damage.
The FBI urges organizations using these systems to take the following steps:
➡️ Take controllers off the public internet
➡️ Put access behind a firewall
➡️ Change default passwords
➡️ Learn how vendors configure devices
➡️ Set safe temperature limits
➡️ Ensure alerts reach the right contacts
For technical details and more information on how to protect these systems, read our advisory: ic3.gov/CSA/2026/261105.pdf
