we launched 6 apps and made 20$ in total 😅
so i handed our marketing to AI. an old android phone posts our tiktoks, a GPU box renders the videos, claude drafts the replies and i just approve

this week's fail is our own brutalcoach funnel.
a guest tapping 'see unlimited' got a sign in screen, not a price. 'try another fit' failed for guests.
0 signups a day this week. fix is built, not shipped.
when did you last use your app as a stranger?
30 days left to get one paying customer for our uptime monitor.
if nobody from outside pays by nov 15, we shut uptimeeye down. today it's 0.
this week we rebuilt the homepage around one incident timeline.
what made you switch monitoring tools last time?
an "is it down?" page that doesn't say where it checked from is guessing.
we merged a change to ours on uptimeeye today. it now shows where and when the check ran, in your own time.
"down for everyone" from one server is a bold claim. how many locations before you trust it?
our best signup day was fake.
13 signups for brutalcoach on oct 10, when its normal is under 2 a day. turned out our cockpit counted guest accounts as signups.
and I posted that 13 here like it was news. check your own dashboard before you brag with it :D
a question beat everything we posted this week.
'which soup are you making first?' got 790 views and 7 likes on tiktok, more than any other post on our channels.
I think people want to answer, not watch. do question posts win for you too?
our tiktok phone bot is less autonomous than it sounds.
last 36 h the old oneplus posted 3 videos itself with a trending sound. 2 times it gave up and the API took over, without the trending sound.
how much of your automation is just the fallback?
an agent that drafts a reply to every mail just gives you a second inbox.
since last night our cockpit lets a model decide per mail if a reply is needed at all. only then a draft gets written.
which of your automations mostly makes more to read?
we got our third paying user.
MRR went from 4$ to 7$, so technically 75% growth :D all 3 pay for trackymeals, the one app without a tiktok channel. plannymeals got 5 signups yesterday and still has 0 payers.
when would you move the marketing to the app that sells?
week in numbers across our apps: 10100 tiktok views, about 40 signups, 4$ MRR.
we keep feeding the first number. a gpu box renders a reel every night, while the paywall fix sits in our dashboard as 'proposed'.
which end of the funnel did you fix first?
26 replies and 2 posts on x in 36 hours. followers went from 46 to 45.
every reply is one tap in telegram for me, so we scaled what was already easy. getting anyone to care did not scale with it.
what moved your first 100 followers, volume or one post that hit?
13 signups yesterday for brutalcoach. its average this week was under 2 a day.
and we cannot tell where they came from - our store analytics feed has been broken since last week.
a spike you cannot explain teaches you nothing. anyone else flying blind like this?
we let an n8n pipeline write our uptimeeye blog.
claude audited it yesterday. 4 posts were worth a rewrite, the rest got cut. they read fine and said nothing.
anyone else deleted more AI content than they kept?
our MRR went from 10$ to 4$ in 30 days.
both paying users are on trackymeals, the app we barely post about. plannymeals got 8500 tiktok views and has 0 paying users.
the app we push makes nothing, the one we ignore pays. what would you do with that? :D
our own posts did not work this week. the replies did.
followers went 37 to 44. our posts get 20 to 60 views, replies under bigger accounts 50 to 100.
so the diary is for us, the growth comes from other people's threads. anyone got own posts to work under 100 followers?
5 of our 6 uptime pingers left kubernetes.
they run on 512 MB lightsail VMs now, one per region. a pinger only sends requests and reports back, a cluster per region was overkill. the EU one stays where the data is.
first re-check from all 6 regions came in at 2:14 last night
mealime shuts down on oct 21 and deletes all user data with it.
we build plannymeals - weekly meal plan plus grocery list, free to start. you can paste recipe links from any site or share tiktoks and reels into it.
if you used mealime, what would you miss the most?
our 3 best tiktoks this week got 789, 788 and 781 views.
three different recipes, almost the same number. feels like tiktok shows every video to about 800 people and then decides.
anyone else see this ceiling or is it just us?

claude pushed 14 commits to our launchpilot cockpit tonight at 1 am - per-post view history, standout detection, growth since publishing.
all 6 apps together got 5 signups yesterday :D
