Abdul El-Sayed says that he wants the government to put money in people's pockets. But the government has no money that it doesn't first take from people's pockets. So what he's really advocating is that the government take money away from some people and give it to other people.

Milton Friedman: “Keep your eye on one thing and one thing only: how much government is spending, because that’s the true tax. If you’re not paying for it in the form of explicit taxes, you’re paying for it indirectly in the form of inflation or borrowing.”

Leaving your fucked up blue state, only to vote for the same shit in the red state you escaped to, is like fleeing a burning house & bringing the arsonist as your roommate. This is psychotic fucking behavior.

The big problem in American politics is that voters expect the government to solve their problems. Our country was founded on the principle that the people should be left alone to solve their own problems. When government is empowered to solve problems, it creates them instead.
