We've been thinking a lot about how to grow the Pumpfun app to 10 million users in the fastest way possible. After dedicating significant resources to building the most performant product in the market and introducing crypto’s most novel rewards system in callout rewards, the answer was obvious: reward the community who help us grow the Pumpfun App. Despite our relentless belief in our own ability to grow the app, strength in numbers >>> So far, we’ve spent nearly $20,000,000 in ~2 months rewarding our users via Callout Rewards, but that isn’t enough - our vision is to make the Pumpfun app the most rewarding app on Earth. Introducing referrals and allowing the Callout Rewards pot to organically grow via a platform fee fixes this. The issue with our prior approach was that users wouldn’t necessarily be able to capture the upside in the network’s growth. Even if the Pumpfun App grew 10x, users would have no guarantee that the Callout Rewards pot, for instance, would scale past the ~$300k/day that it’s been averaging thus far. Why invest your time and social capital building your Pumpfun profile if you don’t have certainty around the longevity and scalability of the total pot? Users deserve to have certainty and the potential to capture a part of the app’s upside. With the introduction of fees - which are LOWER than any social trading app - we’re able to continue spending millions of our own dollars on in-app incentives like Callout Rewards, trading competitions, and so much more. All platform fees that do NOT go to referrals will go towards INCREASING the Callout Rewards pot. $300k/day is the baseline. The Pumpfun app is already the most rewarding platform in crypto by a wide margin, and now anyone can get EVEN more exposure to its growth by helping us grow it. An app with endless upside. posting this for visibility as it may help others with similar trading styles a couple things I noticed from today's activity so far: 1. you are not rewarded per callout - every single callout is taken into account 2. so far today, you’ve made 44 callouts, which the algo will punish because of spam 3. despite the successful callout you referenced, many of your callouts fail to reach 2x, which means a lot of your tailers are losing money, which results in negative multipliers in order to improve your earnings going forward, I suggest the following: 1. focus on quality over quantity: one good callout is MUCH better than 40 mid/bad callouts 2. help your followers win: if they eat, so do you!

An update of the latest Callout Rewards algo iterations (not final!): 1. Tailer PNL now contributes to your rewards in the form of a multiplier: the more your followers win, the more you win. The more your followers get hurt, the more you get hurt. Lowcaps are eligible again, *provided* that tailers actually have an opportunity to SUCCEED! 2. Volume is no longer the sole attribution driver 3. Abnormally high amounts of callouts per day will punish you Those with a keen eye may have noticed we’ve been shipping more features on the callouts tab on the Pumpfun app in order to give you more insights as to how your tailers are performing. Yesterday, we added a 1hr & 4hr metric for your follower PNL. The intention behind this metric is to provide more transparency and weed out the traders who may be leading their followers to slaughter within a short timeframe of their callout being posted. (credit to @PoorGoat_ for some good stats, shown below) There is an IMPORTANT caveat with this feature, which I want to make VERY clear: if a trader has GOOD hold times and their callouts take longer to successfully play out, do not assume that they are a bad trader to follow if their metrics are skewed on lower timeframes. Some people callout a token which may go underwater over the short term, but results in a great trade over a period of days/weeks for their tailers. It is very important that this distinction is made! Expect more changes to follow with the algorithm itself, as well as more comms around callout rewards!
