On the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, the United Kingdom remembers the near 3,000 people who lost their lives on that terrible day, including 67 British citizens. We pay tribute to all those affected including frontline emergency workers, who continue to confront the threat of terrorism and put their lives at risk to protect others. We honour the courage and sacrifice of members of the Armed Forces who have lost their lives in the fight against terrorism. Britain stood with our American friends a quarter of a century ago. We stand with you today. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
