13 unionized Keywords Studios QA testers, working on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, were let go on Sept. 27. Keywords said it was the end of a contract. Either way, the union has filed a complaint with the labor board to dispute severance — different from BioWare dispute with workers.

Epic Games laid off around 900 people and there are reports of layoffs at Ubisoft and Blizzard too.
It's sad that in such a great year for gaming, the people actually making the games are the ones suffering. 😔
