They tried to shut him down but all they did was blow him up even bigger.
Macklemore deserves it all too 👏👏👏👏

The witch hunt against Zack Polanski and those standing against apartheid is a TEST for Britain: a Corbyn moment or a Macklemore moment?
Albert35 retweeted
Well, it won't make a difference. So sad to see high profile Green Party representatives trying drag @ZackPolanski down.
It won't work. His core supporters have lifted The Green Party into the mainstrean for a reason. They agree with Zack. Progress is vital in politics.

Andy Burnham is worse on Palestine than Keir Starmer. If we are witnessing such a dramatic intensification of suppression and more dangerous weaponisation of antisemitism, then I would wager Labour's clandestine support for Israel's genocidal assault has also increased.

Opposing the slaughter of small children is popular. Funny that.

An open appeal to Green Party members, MPs and leadership.
Two of the most consequential issues facing humanity are the climate crisis and the genocide in Gaza.
Both have exposed the devastating results of political leaders refusing to confront uncomfortable evidence, and the human cost when political convenience takes precedence over principle.
The Green Party is supposed to stand for something different. A politics grounded in truth, evidence, justice and universal human rights.
Yet @AdrianRamsay's calls for Green councillors to distance themselves from a democratically adopted conference motion, partly to protect local political arrangements, raise a fundamental question.
Where do you draw the line between political self preservation, and abandoning your principles?
The rights of Palestinians, accountability for atrocities and opposition to racism can't become secondary considerations simply because taking a position carries political consequences.
The Green's never accept a political party watering down its response to climate change because confronting the evidence might cost it votes or council coalitions.
Why should these standards be any different when confronting the suffering of Palestinians?
And there is another enormous danger here.
In trying to avoid political controversy, the Greens risk tearing themselves apart from within, alienating the very people who look to them for principled leadership.
Because if even the Green Party retreats from speaking out against what is happening in Gaza, WHO THE FUCK IS LEFT?
I'm not a Green Party member, and maybe I should be. But I'm someone who desperately wants to see a political movement prepared to confront the enormous challenges facing humanity, guided by evidence and principle rather than political convenience.
And that's why I'm appealing to Green Party members, MPs and the leadership to address this openly, before the pursuit of political safety causes lasting damage to the party, its credibility and the very principles and causes it exists to champion.

Well. We shall see what Adrian says - I hope this is misreporting. But can we be clear that there is no contradiction between speaking out for human rights and for nature. Why on earth would environmentalists tolerate genocide? Humans being nature after all! People and planet. Both.

What a farce and an embarrassment—pathetic and perverse. We have been made the laughing stock of the world, and all thanks, in my view, to the traitorous actions of @andyburnham, @Keir_Starmer and @YvetteCooperMP, who are acting in the interests of a fascist foreign state.

This is the slightly more genteel, Green Party version of what the PLP, Labour Together and the party bureaucracy did to Corbyn.
This isn't complicated. If every time large numbers of, primarily young, idealistic people become enthused by politics and seek to engage in the political process you tell them go away, you are not wanted and call them entryists - it is really, really bad for democracy.

Israelis watched, without protest, as their politicians endorsed the largest mass slaughter of children in modern history.
Then, when the dust settled, when no one could claim they weren’t aware of the full extent of the horrors, 90 percent voted for those same politicians again

It’s dawning on me that Israel might have been behind most, if not all, of the world’s worst atrocities over the past 80 years.

And here it is. You, UK citizens, will be arrested on behalf of a foreign country, by your own police, the ones you pay for. This is @andyburnham's Britain.
