Very few managers if any pick their entire staff anymore. And most new hires inherit at least two or three staff members if not more already on staff. I think most people that take a manager job are pretty confident in their ability to lead people, even if they aren't the ones they chose.
I will reiterate that I am willing to take the Mariners managerial job if nobody else wants it. Jerry you can write the lineup cards and script the bullpen moves and even my pre game/post game speeches, brother. May your will be done through me. Let me be your Pinocchio
Baseball season is over. Wonder how many times I'll watch battered bastards of baseball and dorktown's history of the Seattle Mariners before the next MLB game?
I think we needed to go get a RHH somewhere anyway vs pencil him in for opening day. Still sucks tho. Hope it helps him have a healthy 2027
Crazy that kids can play in the little league world series and be in a handshake agreement for millions of dollars 4 years before the legal driving age in USA
La clase internacional 2030 ya supera los $40.9 MILLONES en preacuerdos 😱

I think there's like one case ever of both sides exercising a mutual option. If a player on your fav team has a mutual option just expect that they'll be gone that year
#Orioles RHP Zach Eflin’s mutual option for 2027 was declined, per the MLBPA
Eflin, 32, will be a free-agent.
Reminder as we get close to CBA negotiations, there is A LOT at stake. The Mariners have agreements with 2 of the top 3 international free agents for the signing period BUT an international draft is regarded as an inevitability by some. Question is when is it implemented?

11/ RP Lucas Kelly | RHP
The 6'4" power pitcher struck out 89 batters in 54.1 IP split nearly evenly across A+ and AA. The Arizona State product could be on a fast track to the M's bullpen if he can keep the walks down.
Lucas Kelly was dealing 🔥
The hard-throwing righty punched out SEVEN batters in 1.2 innings of work. #TridentsUp
