It was an honour to represent farmers today to share how we can work together and grow our communities. It requires planning that recognizes agriculture and the infrastructure that supports it as an essential part of Ontario's future!
When we grow, Canada grows! @GrainFarmers
Julie Maw (@mooremawfarms), vice chair, Grain Farmers of Ontario, joined @TrevorJonesCKL and @BobBaileyPC for a tour of Cargill Sarnia, discussing community growth that protects agriculture.
Julie has worked tirelessly alongside GFO’s chair, @feedn4kids, to highlight this facility’s importance to thousands of grain farmers. Approximately 35% of Ontario’s grain exports move through Cargill Sarnia.
It isn't often that decision-makers step directly into the shop to focus on the reality of Canadian grain farming. Having Pierre Poilievre meet with farmers from Southwestern Ontario provided a crucial platform to address the mounting pressures on rural producers. @GrainFarmers
#AMO2026 was an opportunity to connected with leaders across Ont. discussing agriculture land-use & development decisions. Importance of continuing investing in and protecting infrastructure that supports economic growth and keeps communities competitive.
Continuing the conversations in Ottawa at the 2026 AMO Conference.
Great to connect with Minister @TrevorJonesCKL and Councillor @SteveMcCabe73, as well as MPPs @PinsonneaultLKM and @LoganKanapathi, to share the perspective of Ontario’s grain farmers and discuss the priorities that matter to our sector and rural communities. 🌾
@Cargill sarnia terminal, in Lambton County is an example of protecting existing agricultural infrastructure and it's value in the overall agriculture food security and supply chain. @TrevorJonesCKL @RobFlackEML
While we're talking about wheat harvest...Competitive yield, exceptional test weight, quality seed and great straw quality....GRO-08 2026 winter wheat @SnobelenGrain 🌾 is knocking it out of the park in Southwestern Ontario - heavy clay soils!
Advocating together for Southwestern Ontario's Grain Infrastructure.
Alongside @BirnamPork @OntarioFarms and fellow farmers, I represented @GrainFarmers at a recent @Sarnia_Ontario Council meeting.
The @Cargill Sarnia grain terminal is a critical asset for Ontario agriculture, serving as a vital hub for grain movement, fertilizer imports, and access to both domestic and international markets.
An inspiring talk by @ArleneDickinson that hits home on the importance of entering those opportunities outside of our comfort zones. Keep pushing!!!

“The world needs farmers. The world needs the products that only you can deliver.” Grateful to @ArleneDickinson for an inspiring talk at #MarchClassic 🙌 Her insights on how taking chances can lead to big rewards, and the story of how she landed her role on Dragons’ Den, were truly motivating.

I represent Canadian farmers this week in Washington, D.C. It was an honour to join the @ASA_Soybean and Wisconsin soybean growers for meetings on Capitol Hill. We met with U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and other representatives to discuss key soybean policy and trade issues.
This week, we had the opportunity to reconnect with the @wheatworld to discuss how we, as farmers, can support our government's efforts toward free and fair trade in alignment with CUSMA. @GrainFarmers
It was a great opportunity to connect with @NationalCorn to discuss the shared issues and challenges we face as farmers, regardless of the border that separates us.
I look forward to working together to ensure the long-term success of all farmers @GrainFarmers
Grain Farmers of Ontario met with @NationalCorn at the Commodity Classic today.
Canada and U.S. farmers are strongest when we stay connected and keep markets open. Ongoing collaboration across the border is key to long-term success in agriculture. #Classic26
As the Canadian ASA board of director, I had the opportunity to join my @GrainFarmers colleagues in discussions with @ASA_Soybeans supporting a common goal of free & fair trade with the renewal of CUSMA.
Great discussion with @ASA_Soybeans at the Commodity Classic today!
As farmers, we have a lot in common, especially our support for free trade and a renewed CUSMA. Together, we can strengthen policies that benefit farmers on both sides of the border. #Classic26
Today, we had the opportunity to meet with @Cargill to discuss the importance of grain infrastructure in North America. Focusing on how this infrastructure enables farmers to efficiently move their crops to market. @GrainFarmers
