📌 أنجزت وزارة الأشغال العامة والنقل، بتوجيهات من الوزير فايز رسامني وبمتابعة من المديرية الإقليمية للأشغال العامة في الجنوب، أعمال تزفيت معبرين مؤقتين في برج رحال وطيرفلسيه، ضمن التدخلات العاجلة لمعالجة الأضرار التي لحقت بالطرق والجسور في الجنوب، وتسهيل حركة التنقل على المحاور الحيوية. 🔹 جسر برج رحال: استُكملت أعمال فرش الطبقة الإسفلتية ودحلها على ممر العبور المؤقت على الطريق الدولية، لتحسين ظروف المرور ريثما تُنفّذ المعالجة الدائمة للبنية التحتية المتضررة. 🔹 طيرفلسيه – جسر 6 شباط: أُنجز تزفيت ممر العبور المؤقت فوق نهر الليطاني، ليشكّل بديلاً مرحلياً عن الجسر المتضرر، ويسهّل تنقّل الأهالي والمركبات بين ضفّتَي النهر. 🔹 تنبيه للسلامة المرورية: تدعو الوزارة السائقين، ولا سيما العابرين عند جسر برج رحال، إلى توخّي أقصى درجات الحذر، وتخفيف السرعة، ومراعاة ضيق الممر المؤقت، والتقيّد بالإشارات المرورية وتعليمات السلامة، حفاظاً على سلامة الجميع. 🔹 تؤكد الوزارة مواصلة تنفيذ التدخلات العاجلة لإصلاح الطرق والجسور المتضررة في الجنوب، وفق الأولويات الميدانية، تمهيداً للحلول الدائمة وتعزيز الربط بين المناطق الجنوبية.

📌 Under the directives of Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny and the supervision of the Ministry’s Regional Directorate of Public Works in South Lebanon, asphalting works have been completed on two temporary crossings in Borj Rahhal and Tayr Falsay, as part of urgent efforts to restore connectivity and facilitate movement across war-damaged areas in southern Lebanon. 🔹 Borj Rahhal Bridge: Asphalt laying and compaction works were completed on the temporary crossing along the international highway to improve traffic conditions pending permanent repairs to the damaged infrastructure. 🔹 Tayr Falsay – February 6 Bridge: Asphalting works were completed on the temporary crossing over the Litani River, providing an interim alternative to the damaged bridge and facilitating movement between communities on both sides of the river. 🔹 Road Safety Advisory: The Ministry urges motorists, particularly those using the Borj Rahhal crossing, to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, remain mindful of the narrowed roadway, and strictly observe traffic signs and safety instructions. 🔹 The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to advancing urgent road and bridge repairs across South Lebanon, prioritizing damaged infrastructure and restoring vital transport links pending permanent reconstruction.

📌ترأس وزير الأشغال العامة والنقل فايز رسامني اجتماعا تنسيقيا موسعاً لمتابعة الاستعدادات لانطلاق أولى الرحلات التجارية من مطار الرئيس رينيه معوّض – القليعات، في حضور مستشار الوزير هادي موسى وممثلين عن جهاز أمن المطار وقيادة الجيش - أركان الجيش للتجهيز والقوات الجوية والمديرية العامة للجمارك، والمديرية العامة للأمن العام والهيئة العامة للطيران المدني (LCAA)، ومؤسسة شركة مطار بيروت الدولي (Beirut Airport Enterprise)، وشركتَي Sky Lounge Services وIBEX Air Charter، والمديرية العامة للطرق والمباني في وزارة الأشغال العامة والنقل. 🔹وتناول الاجتماع الجهوزية الفنية والأمنية والتشغيلية للمطار، بما يشمل تجهيز المرافق، وأنظمة السلامة والمراقبة الجوية، والإجراءات الأمنية والجمركية، والخدمات الأرضية، والترتيبات اللوجستية لاستقبال المسافرين عند بدء التشغيل، فضلاً عن البنية التحتية والمرافق المساندة، مع تحديد المسؤوليات وتنسيق الجهود لاستكمال المتطلبات المتبقية. 🔹وشدّد رسامني على ضرورة تسريع إنجاز التحضيرات ومعالجة أي عوائق تشغيلية، مع الالتزام الكامل بمعايير سلامة الطيران وأمن المسافرين، مؤكداً أن إعادة تشغيل مطار القليعات تمثّل خطوة استراتيجية لتعزيز قدرات لبنان في النقل الجوي، وتنشيط الحركة الاقتصادية والسياحية في عكار والشمال، وتوسيع خيارات السفر، على أن تنطلق الرحلات فور استكمال جميع المتطلبات والموافقات اللازمة.

📌 Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny chaired an expanded coordination meeting to review preparations for the launch of the first commercial flights from René Mouawad Airport–Kleyat. 🔹The meeting brought together Ministerial Advisor Hadi Moussa and representatives of Airport Security, the Lebanese Army Command’s Equipment Staff and Air Force, the Directorate General of Customs, the Directorate General of General Security, the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA), Beirut Airport Enterprise, Sky Lounge Services, IBEX Air Charter, and the Ministry’s Directorate General of Roads and Buildings. 🔹 Discussions focused on the airport’s technical, security and operational readiness, including facility preparations, aviation safety and air traffic control systems, security and customs procedures, ground handling services, passenger reception arrangements upon the commencement of operations, and supporting infrastructure. Participants also reviewed outstanding requirements, clarified institutional responsibilities and coordinated efforts to complete the remaining preparations. 🔹 Rasamny stressed the need to expedite preparations and address any operational obstacles while ensuring full compliance with aviation safety and passenger security standards. He underscored the strategic importance of reactivating Kleyat Airport in strengthening Lebanon’s air transport capacity, stimulating economic activity and tourism in Akkar and northern Lebanon, and expanding travel options. Commercial flights will commence once all operational requirements have been fulfilled and the necessary approvals secured.

📌اطّلع وزير الأشغال العامة و النقل فايز رسامني على الدراسة الخاصة بتطوير مرفأ الأوزاعي للصيادين، التي يتولى برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP) إعدادها بتمويل من بنك التنمية الألماني (KfW)، في إطار العمل على تطوير المرفأ وتحسين بنيته التحتية. 🔹وحضر الاجتماع المتعلق بدراسة تطوير مرفأ الأوزاعي ممثلون عن برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي وشركة «كريدو»، إلى جانب المدير العام للنقل البري والبحري العميد مازن بصبوص، ورئيس اتحاد بلديات الضاحية الجنوبية المهندس محمد درغام. 🔹كما استقبل رسامني نائب رئيس البعثة والقائم بأعمال السفارة الأميركية في بيروت، كيث هانيغان (Keith Hanigan)، وتناول اللقاء الشؤون العامة في البلاد والأوضاع الراهنة.

📌Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny on Wednesday reviewed a study for the development of Ouzai Fishing Port, being prepared by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with funding from the German Development Bank (KfW), as part of efforts to modernize the port and improve its infrastructure. 🔹The meeting was attended by representatives of UNDP and Credo, alongside Director General of Land and Maritime Transport Brigadier General Mazen Basbous and President of the Union of Southern Suburbs Municipalities, Engineer Mohammad Dargham. 🔹In a separate meeting, Rasamny received Keith Hanigan, Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Beirut, for discussions on the country’s general situation and latest developments.

📌 Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny reviewed the latest developments concerning the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and Lebanon’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its engagement with the initiative and capitalize on the opportunities it presents. 🔹 In this context, Rasamny chaired a meeting with the delegation tasked with negotiations on the project to assess Lebanon’s progress and outline priorities for the next phase. Discussions focused on enhancing the logistical and technical capabilities of the ports of Beirut and Tripoli and strengthening interconnectivity across maritime, road and rail networks to facilitate cargo movement, transit trade and re-exports, while integrating Lebanese ports into the corridor’s broader logistics network. 🔹 The meeting followed the participation of the ports of Beirut and Tripoli in the launch of the IMEC Ports Club in New Delhi, marking a further step toward expanding international port cooperation, facilitating knowledge exchange and advancing joint initiatives among participating ports.

📌اطّلع وزير الأشغال العامة والنقل فايز رسامني على آخر تطورات مشروع الممر الاقتصادي بين الهند والشرق الأوسط وأوروبا (IMEC)، والخطوات التي يتخذها لبنان لتعزيز حضوره في المشروع والاستفادة من الفرص التي يتيحها. 🔹وفي هذا الإطار، ترأس رسامني اجتماعًا مع وفد التفاوض بشأن المشروع، جرى خلاله استعراض الخطوات التي أنجزها لبنان ومتطلبات المرحلة المقبلة، ولا سيما تطوير القدرات اللوجستية والفنية لمرفأَي بيروت وطرابلس، وتعزيز الربط بين النقل البحري والبري والسكك الحديدية، بما يسهم في تسهيل حركة البضائع والترانزيت وإعادة التصدير، وربط المرافئ اللبنانية بالشبكة اللوجستية الأوسع للمشروع. 🔹ويأتي ذلك في أعقاب مشاركة مرفأَي بيروت وطرابلس في إطلاق «نادي موانئ IMEC» في نيودلهي، بما يفتح المجال أمام توسيع التعاون وتبادل الخبرات وتطوير المبادرات المشتركة بين الموانئ المشاركة.

📌تواصل وزارة الأشغال العامة والنقل، بإشراف مباشر من الوزير فايز رسامني، تنفيذ برنامج واسع لتأهيل الطرق والبنى التحتية في أقضية صور وصيدا وجزين والنبطية ومرجعيون وحاصبيا، مع إعطاء الأولوية للمناطق المتضررة من الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية والمحاور الحيوية. 🔹 إعادة تأمين المعابر الحيوية: إنشاء معبر مؤقت في طيرفلسيه لإعادة ربط ضفتَي نهر الليطاني وتسهيل حركة المواطنين والآليات. 🔹 تأهيل الطرق الأساسية: تعبيد وصيانة الطرق في مختلف أقضية الجنوب، وتحسين الوصول إلى المدارس والخدمات الأساسية والمناطق الزراعية. 🔹 تعزيز البنى التحتية: تأهيل الجسور وجدران الدعم وشبكات تصريف مياه الأمطار، وتحسين إجراءات السلامة المرورية. 🔹 دعم المناطق الحدودية: إعطاء الأولوية للطرق المتضررة من الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية، لتسهيل تنقّل الأهالي وإعادة تأمين الربط بين البلدات. 🔹ورش متواصلة لإعادة وصل المناطق، وتعزيز السلامة على الطرق، ودعم تعافي الجنوب وصمود أهله.

📌Under the direct supervision of Minister Fayez Rasamny, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport is advancing a comprehensive road and infrastructure rehabilitation program across Tyre, Sidon, Jezzine, Nabatieh, Marjayoun and Hasbaya, prioritizing war-damaged areas and vital transport links. 🔹 Restoring critical crossings: Construction of a temporary crossing at Tayr Falsay to reconnect communities across the Litani River. 🔹 Rehabilitating vital roads: Resurfacing and repairs across southern districts, improving access to schools, essential services and agricultural areas. 🔹 Strengthening infrastructure: Upgrading bridges, retaining walls, drainage systems and road safety measures. 🔹 Supporting border communities: Prioritizing roads damaged by Israeli attacks to facilitate daily movement and restore essential connectivity. 🔹A sustained effort to reconnect communities, improve road safety and support South Lebanon’s recovery.
