Thanks to @arranwhiskymari for a great tasting evening of Arran malt whisky in Nantwich last night. Surprisingly the 10 year didn't shine, the Sauternes and Port finishes were the stars of the show along with a surprise tasting of the barrel Bonfire which was incredible!!

We went that way to Whitchurch yesterday for a change and to drive past Marbury Heyes farm where my Dad worked for many years which is now up for sale. The state of the road is horrendous, I do wonder why we pay our council tax 😡

New Rd, Wrenbury. 1km of road, no maintenance for 3.5 years. x2 floods up to 100m long and >30cm deep since August last year. Plus now a sinkhole cause by a @CECHighways collapsed drain.

This is a video I took yesterday on New Road. It is no better on the road to Marbury up to the swan pub with many floods and massive potholes. In places it acts like a river depositing 8 inches of sediment in the middle of the carriageway!
