🎹✨#Musik #Konzert #Piano #Klavier #LivePerformance #Munich #AnnaHellerPianist #ZeitReiseAmKlavier
For me, there has never been a strict border between classical and popular music. If a melody touches me or tells an interesting story, I become curious: What will happen when I bring it to the piano? What will remain when there are no lyrics, no voice, no production—only the melody, the harmony and my own imagination?

youtube.com/watch?v=fb852qPe… Some pieces don't just ask to be played—they invite you into a world.
Anne de Boysson's Images IV is one of those pieces for me. It is wonderfully visual music, full of colour, light and imagination. Every time I play it, I discover something new.
I also hear a subtle poetic echo of Chopin—not as an influence to imitate, but as a shared sensitivity, expressed in a completely unique voice.
Recording this beautiful piece has been a real joy. Thank you, Anne, for creating such inspiring music.

#juergenhabermas

Does the best always win — or is that just a beautiful illusion?
My new article explores economist Toby Stuart’s ideas about status, “anointing,” and the Matthew Effect — and how they might apply to classical music today.
Why do some artists become inevitable while others remain unheard? How much do reputation, venues, and networks shape what we listen to?
At Moving Classics, we try to encourage curiosity — because real discovery begins where familiarity ends.
What do you think: do audiences choose the best, or the most visible?
