Inspiring video and good dude, as we know, but man, can people lay off secret TMZ video while the dude is just trying to be a good father to his kid?

I convinced Ellie and Abby to cruise around town politicking with me this morning and we had a blast.
We went to the Midtown Democrats meeting in Westport then heard a great campaign message from #TeamMPH in the third district before finishing it off with Starbucks.
I’m proud to have the support of labor unions and professional organizations representing thousands of KC workers.
Good-paying jobs with benefits and strong career pathways are priorities I’ll keep fighting for.

I really enjoyed speaking with the Independence Avenue CID community over coffee this morning for a Q&A! We spoke about several topics including the future of transportation in Kansas City, how we’re working to continue building diverse, affordable housing across Kansas City, and how I’m advocating for the Northeast at City Hall.
I look forward to many more of these conversations with neighbors over the next month in this neighborhood Q&A series! Email me at [email protected] if you’d like to schedule a Q&A for your neighborhood!

Let the record reflect the day @NathanNotNate and I agreed on something. CM Willett is absolutely correct this public investment should go to a vote of the people.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 9th, 2026
“Public feedback is crucial before voting on any stadium proposal. I did not join my other colleagues in sponsoring the proposed legislation.
Any proposal should be approved by the taxpayers of Kansas City. In the meantime, I will make sure the details of the proposal do not harm police & fire budgets.”
- Councilman Nathan Willett
