If your going to argue with me about covid don't argue with the basics like published data and definitions then block me when I call you on it.

BREAKING: from the Royal London Hospital, this email from management👇
“We are now in disaster medicine mode. We are no longer providing high standard critical care, because we cannot”
The content of this email is SHOCKING and I’m passing it to a trusted journalist right now🚨

To my prehospital colleagues who have or will be in that same living room.
Give people their chances to say goodbye.
I’m not saying write everyone off, this isn’t a 100% mortality diagnosis.
But recognise that contact & comms only worsens when those ambulance doors close.

I haven’t been terrified at work for a very long time. I remember brand new experiences as a student being ‘scary’; but with time, education, exposure & experience, they became more infrequent
Alas, I can categorically assure you, it still happens!

Thanks @RoyalMail for parking across my driveway so I couldn't get my car on the drive in a downpour. Me and my 1 week old daughter loved getting extra soaked getting in the house.
Recently we received a 999 call about a broken egg in a fridge.
This is NOT the right 999 call. The service is here for emergencies only.
This is the 999 call, and then a message from some of the people who called 999 for the right reasons.
Be #999wise

Makes you feel better about not having a clue what's wrong with your patient when even the doctors in resus are looking at each other shrugging their shoulders.
Maybe if the @AldiUK store assistants didn't use their headsets to make negative comments on the personal appearance of a lady walking in, they might have noticed my trolley before barging into it, knocking it into another customer and carrying on without noticing or apologising.
I hate having little old lady's doors kicked down, especially when it's just because someome changed the key safe code without updating anyone.
This morning I was woken up by the 2 year old driving a toy car across my face. It was not a pleasant experience for either of us.
There is something very satisfying sitting eating an @NandosUK takeaway in your pj's in bed.
Only problem with coming off nights last night and sleeping half the day. Body doesn't want me to sleep tonight.
Last day of my driving course. Not long now and I'm doing the job for real, just a slightly terrifying prospect.
