Where is the provincial police force?
Why have you not pushed the federal government for that ‘number’ so we can move forward with discussion about a provincial pension? If they won’t give it, move forward anyways.
Why did we have to vote on immigration questions that you already knew the answer to and had a mandate to do?
Why is Alberta not collecting all the taxes yet?
Why is the premier pretending that the 9 bad laws are gone and we can build pipelines to the coast?
Albertans are so very very tired of stupid party games.
Of wondering ‘what happened to Danielle Smith?’
Of holding their noses when they go to vote because we can’t get a leader who actually does what they campaigned on but heaven forbid we have the NDP.
If our leaders won’t do what they campaigned on, what’s the difference? Who cares if we get the NDP if we don’t get the leader and government we actually voted for? At least we know from the get-go that they are compromised and crazy. Rather than dealing with the disappointment of what we have now.
SMH that we’re pretty much back to a Kenney situation. I’ve got tickets to the AGM but don’t know if I want to waste a good weekend supporting more of the charade. A large part of the hope Albertans had for independence was the opportunity to reset the system, get to a place of true democracy, away from party politics, politicians who are only concerned with if they get elected next year and who have zero actual vision for the province past the next election cycle.
We are oh, so very, tired of it all.

The BONNEYVILLE UCP Constituency Association Board voted by secret ballot on October 26, 2026 to hold a review of Premier Smith’s leadership of the UCP.
The vote follows a week of bizarre statements from Smith including telling 518,766 Albertans comprising 56% of the UCP vote in the last election that Alberta will never be independent as long as she in in charge AND that if party members and UCP voters can’t embrace federalism they should “find a new party”.
Smith’s unhinged rants were coupled with a weird CBC interview where she was pressed on having been elected leader of the UCP by Alberta Independence Movement supporters. Her response was a Kamala Harris like cackle followed by a denial that independence movement members elected her leader of the UCP.
This denial was in the face of a clear public record of Smith courting independence votes at an APP leaders debate in 2022 where she described APP as her “or else” with Ottawa.
