Official Israeli governmental accounts are trying to mislead public opinion by publishing a video that included three clips, which they attached to an allegation in which they accused the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine of bombing Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital after the movement launched a heavy volley of missiles towards Israel, one of which hit the hospital, according to the claim.
The truth:
The three videos published by the Israeli government accounts include a time and date of capture, all of which appear later than the time of the bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, which took place at approximately 18:59-19:00 (7 PM) Mecca and Palestine time zone (there is no difference Between the time zones of the two regions), according to a screenshot taken by the team of the “Matsda2sh” platform for fact-checking, from a live broadcast on Al Jazeera channel that filmed the moment of the bombing of the Baptist Hospital, and also according to the media that began circulating urgent reports regarding the hospital being bombed a few minutes after seven o’clock in the evening, around 19:18, as follows:
- The first clip above, which was misleadingly published by Israeli government accounts, appears at a time of approximately 19:59:59, that is, about an hour after the time of targeting the Baptist Hospital, around 7 PM. The video clip is also similar to what was shown on the live broadcast of Al Jazeera TV channel, and the (Matsda2sh) platform team took a screenshot of it, which appears at 16:59 GMT, which means 19:59 Palestine time zone (about an hour after the hospital was bombed). Which showed preliminary estimates of the number of martyrs who fell due to the hospital bombing.
- The second clip to the left shows a time of 19:58, which is also about an hour after the time of targeting the Baptist Hospital at 7 PM.
- The third clip to the right appears at 00:13 on 10-18-2023, i.e., in the first hour of the day following the bombing of Baptist Hospital.
The result: The video footage published by the official accounts of the Israeli government is misleading and was recorded about an hour after the actual time of the bombing of the hospital.
It should be noted that the official account of the Israeli government edited the tweet and deleted the video from the tweet after revealing the falsity of their claim.
According to statements by the spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health (Ashraf Al-Qudra) during a press conference, the death toll from the bombing of the Baptist Hospital reached 471 martyrs, and 28 are still in critical condition, in addition to 314 people with various injuries.

Iraq’s monthly revenues are in the billions. Despite this, Iraqi officials squander & steal, then shamelessly give international organizations a hard time on their spending & implementing, though IO budgets are a fraction of 🇮🇶 income & Iraq could easily finance projects itself. – at Iraq
