BREAKING: A new report by Ontario's Financial Accountability Office has found the Ontario government is underspending on healthcare by $21.3 billion. They're underfunding our public healthcare system so they can implement private for-profit healthcare. Don't let them fool you.

Ontario’s four teachers’ unions have been without a contract since last August, and it appears they are nowhere closer to reaching a deal with the Ford government. toronto.citynews.ca/2023/01/…

Made a one-pager infographic on how to help manage your child’s cold at home, given the crisis unfolding in Ontario (and personally having a sick baby right now). Please feel free to share with other parents.

NEW: Ontario voters seem to be pointing the finger at Premier Doug Ford, according to a new poll, blaming the Progressive Conservative government for the closure of classrooms in the fight with thousands of education-support workers. globalnews.ca/news/9256193/m… #onpoli #onted

Provinces should be put on notice: any use of the notwithstanding clause to limit rights, particularly in the pre-emptive, blank-cheque manner that Ontario and Quebec have been using it, will be met with the traditional instrument of federal rights enforcement: disallowance.

It’s shocking to me that we’ve got MPPs in power here in Ontario that think they deserve the $16,000 raise they gave themselves earlier this year but don’t think CUPE education workers deserve a raise of just $3.25 per hour so they can afford to put food on the table.

Replying to @Sflecce
As you hear about CUPE strike action, never forget that @Sflecce took $465 million out of the education budget to pay parents, when $235 million would have avoided a strike. #39KIsNotEnough #onted #IStandWithCUPE

There you have it folks, Ontario Conservatives are the first Canadian government to use the Notwithstanding clause to override Constitutionally protected Labour Rights. Quite a day in Canadian Labour law and Constitutional history.

1) Okay, so the Ontario Gov't just announced parents would get $250 per kid to "enhance learning". Let's look at one example of what that money could do if it was directed to schools instead of used as a political bribe to parents.
