Daniel Ahmadizadeh (@crustdata) is back for office hours today! 📬 On Friday he told the community to send him their best cold email. He's going to open them live, tell us what he saw, and break down what separates the ones that land from the ones that get deleted. Best cold email gets prizes! 🥇 Today, 9 AM PT, Replit Discord only. Link in the comments. See you there! 🙌

I don't know where the boundary of Opus 5.5 is. 100% written in code in one shot (except for the sound, used @ElevenLabs) I added in @AsideAI browser into @Replit bot as a workaround for shell control, mode selection, and any type of web-related work. My ultimate workflow combined into one single app. This will become even better with Aside's V2... We are living in the era where you imagine it, you can create it. It says Beta, but this is a personal project, NOT AN OFFICIAL PRODUCT

Created in-browser latex editor for my textbooks. Love what Opus did.

After going to a few @Replit events, I've been asking users on what can be improved to expand the user base in Korea. They uniformly told me that there's almost nothing out there that serves as introduction or tutorials for beginners in Korean. Korean users also heavily rely on books as entry points or YouTube. Almost all of them requested me to write a book about it. Since I've been writing textbooks throughout the year, here I go!!!! But I do need help from the community. This is the table of contents I came up with so far. I would love some feedback on the order and the covered contents!! (I did spend the last week writing the rough draft, almost done) Part I. Beginner 1. Meet Replit and set up your account 2. The project editor, top to bottom 3. Your first app: talking to the Agent 4. Files, Shell, and Console 5. How to code by conversing with AI 6. Share your app with the world: Publishing basics 7. Don't fear mistakes: Checkpoints and rollback 8. Beginner capstone: finish a mini project Part II. Intermediate 9. Agent modes and cost control 10. Bringing projects in: GitHub import and Remix 11. Configuring your environment: .replit, Nix, packages 12. Databases: working with the built-in PostgreSQL 13. Secrets and environment variables 14. Choosing a deployment type 15. Custom domains and monitoring 16. Building as a team: workspaces and collaboration Part III. Advanced 17. Agent 4, parallel agents, and the Design canvas 18. Autonomy and quality: app testing and the task board 19. Routines: automating with the Agent 20. Advanced integrations: MCP, external AI tools, managed model APIs 21. Agent Skills: teaching the Agent how your team builds 22. Security and safe publishing: Security Center 23. Production data: schemas, recovery, deployment previews 24. Capstone: from idea to launch Appendix A. Official resources and links Appendix B. Glossary (Korean/English) @raymmar @MannyBernabe @nobita2040 @Franciscocrz I would love some feedback on this!

If it's too much to switch subscriptions, literally if you don't want to lift a finger to do it, just ask @AsideAI to do it.

Found out what Astra is really good at. Created some videos with Higgsfield, needed to edit specific portions of the video. I asked if it's able to do it, it can. The app icon was not there on the phone's screen originally. Now it's there. Very impressive.
