The BBC's assault on Glasgow should concern everyone in Scotland. The city is collateral damage just as everything in Scotland is when it comes to politics and the BritNats. The constant caricaturing of Scotland as inferior, a mess and in permanent crisis needs to be called out.

The SNP have hit out at the BBC ahead of a Question Time show which is due to debate Scottish oil and gas without any Scottish representation on the panel
SNP MSP Laura Mitchell said the BBC line-up was the 'perfect representation of the story of Scotland’s energy – zero Scottish say over our own resources'
When historians look back at the devolved era they'll find the likes of Jackie Baillie, Anas Sarwar, Michelle Mone and Ruth Davidson all received awards & titles and conclude they must have been respected and popular. Their SNP contemporaries will appear the complete oppposite.
The Welsh government is to hold an independent Wales Covid-19 review after the previous Labour administration blocked one.

Has Andy Burnham misspoke again by signalling the end of standing charges on energy bills? Will he 'clarify' later and claim he was talking about ten years from now?
Let's see if BBC Scotland reports this.
Good to see House Jock Michael Shanks being scolded like a pet that's just soiled its master's carpet.
Another broadcast journalist responding to criticisms on social media. This is a good sign. It shows social media does indeed have some influence.
Last year Andy Burnham boasted he'd signed the 'Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty'. Today he has sanctioned Jackdaw to drill for more fossil fuels.
Another Labour liar who makes pledges that are worthless. Grangemouth, Waspi Women, GB Energy jobs, Lower energy bills.
Can someone tell Lucy Dunn that energy is reserved to Westminster. There seems to be a surreal reversal of devolved and reserved going on just now where Swinney is the one challenged on reserved issues and Burnham is portrayed as having power over devolved issues.
The critical incident declared by Nottingham NHS Trust yesterday was the THIRD inside a year. The trust declared one in Nov 2025 and again in Jan 2026. If this was a Scottish health board BBC Scotland would go after John Swinney. Labour MSPs would demand the health secretary be sacked. It would be a political circus.
Michael Marra's deputy Jackie Baillie trying to score cheap political points using yesterday's UK Covid Inquiry report. Grotesque politicking from an individual notorious for such. She stains the Scottish parliament. Did Michael Marra sanction this? @michaeljmarra
The Scottish Govt should offer to bale out the BBC Scotland digital channel. Put it in the hands of the Holyrood culture committee in the first instance, save the ten jobs and rename it the Scottish Broadcast Channel.

🚨 BREAKING: Labour MP Perran Moon has been suspended amid claims he tried to wind up his company without repaying a taxpayer-funded COVID loan
The UK Covid Inquiry made one glaring mistake. It failed to examine the broadcast media. Public conformity was essential in containing the virus and people were steered by what they heard on TV and Radio.
BBC Scotland politicised the pandemic and put thousands of lives at risk. It smeared the FM, misled the public by continually framing Scotland's vaccination programme as failing and regularly undermined guidelines & messaging.
A critical incident has been declared by the trust that runs Nottingham's two major hospitals. According to the trust there were more than than 200 patients in A&E, with more than 100 waiting to be seen.
