Proud bumpkin. Go vote.
Bill Green, a beloved retired newscaster in Maine, cut an ad for Susan Collins saying that "Troy doesn't have the tools he needs." The Jackson campaign has mocked the ad mercilessly.
Over the phone, Green told me he thinks Jackson is controlled by the D.S.A. “He’s a bumpkin. I wish I hadn’t said that. But he is. He’s not an intelligent guy.”

In a just society, this would result in such severe antitrust lawsuits and judgments against Google that it would effectively be bankrupted and then nationalized.
Google is using its search monopoly to coerce schools into adopting AI. This highlights the danger of allowing an unregulated monopolist to control an essential service.
Multiple courts have found Google liable for violating antitrust laws, and this latest move shows it remains unchastened.
As the public increasingly pushes back against the use of AI in schools, Google is making clear it will punish those who don’t fall in line.

Even so, nearly midway through EDay, Florida's registered Ds are at 68% of their total 2024 turnout (including all voting methods) vs. Rs at 59%.
This gap will narrow a bit before 7pm, but little doubt this will still be a significantly bluer electorate than two years ago.

Democrats are poised to win back the Senate — sending a Methodist pastor, a Presbyterian seminarian, a Muslim doctor, and a Catholic Native American to Washington while reelecting a Jewish Southerner in Georgia.
This is America at its best.

Medgar Evers was killed in his driveway because he refused to accept a Mississippi where some were denied the right to vote.
He stood with thousands who marched, organized and sacrificed so future generations could have a voice. We owe it to them not to take that right for granted. On Tuesday, honor their legacy. Vote.

If a nuclear weapon were used on Pick Axe mountain in Iran by the US or Israel or an empty field in Ukraine by Russia etc, it doesn’t matter, it would open up Pandora’s box and would make the U.S. and the world dramatically less safe. This isn’t even a question of how big of a disaster the use, in any manner, of a nuclear weapon would be. It would represent the largest foreign policy error ever by the United States if we were involved. We can only hope this claim isn’t accurate in any way.

“Michigan could very well be the state that flips control of the Senate. …That’s what’s on the line. Nothing less. And Michiganders know it.”
“Cut the shit. Lock in. Knock doors. Get out the vote. That’s it.”
