As someone who's been trained in first aid and CPR since H.S., if you're only there to stare, pushing you out of the way is justified to render aid. You can press your dumb charges later. I got a life to save.

My take? He’s right. ESPECIALLY if she’s just a water girl and not medical staff addressing a serious issue. That’s HIS team mate. She’s pushing him away from HIS squad and touching HIM UNWARRANTED. Standards are standards. NO ONE is entitled to touch you unsolicited. What say YOU?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The woman is Grace Dietrich, a Duke Athletic Training Fellow with a master's in athletic training providing medical coverage, not a "water girl." She moved the player aside to treat the injured teammate. goduke.com/staff-director… hip-hopvibe.com/news/duke-kima…

According to NCAA rules, he shouldn't even be allowed on the field and she should be allowed to tend to the injured player without interference because she's part of the training staff. She has total authority to do what she's been trained to do while he has none.

I’m sorry but she is the one in the wrong, and you can’t convince me otherwise. There was no reason for her to run up and shove him. Also, she ended up playing no role in treating the injured player, she is an intern trainer.

Any one who refers to what she did as a “shove” is a massive pussy holy shit… It’s a full grown man in pads, he can handle a hand on his shoulder guiding him a few feet to the left!

It sucks that every time A&M loses half the fanbase loses control of their emotions and starts saying ridiculous stuff like this. It’s understandable to doubt Elko after that game, but at least make logical arguments instead of BS like this.
