We still want to find a way to bring the community together. If you planned to be in California for the Grace Hopper Celebration, I invite you to join us this year for GitHub Universe, Oct 28-29. 🌉
We've set aside 75 complimentary passes for folks with cancelled registrations. While this doesn't replace the conference and Universe has far fewer attendees than GHC, my hope is that it does give folks an opportunity to connect with each other. 📷 DM the GitHub team on LinkedIn or email me at [email protected] (first come first serve).
I like to live life on the edge and usually land in cities without lodging booked. Today I landed in Baltimore and @muse was able to secure a room for me by the time I walked from my gate to uber pickup
My @ouraring isn't going to be happy that I stayed up all night but if they can play tennis for 4h28m I can survive a day with a low readiness score....
👋Marketer here. @LouiseDSadeleer is on point. In marketing interviews, I have been asking folks to share what they have been building and what tools they are using. Github is the new portfolio and if you aren't building then you are already behind

A LOT showed up at Build this year.
My favorite theme: agents are moving from demos into the actual developer + enterprise stack: code, models, local compute, context, and OS-level safety.

I’ve always wanted my tech conferences with a side of organic raspberries and apricots. Got to experience the Fort Mason Farmers Market as we prep for #MicrosoftBuild this week.

I'm so sick of reading em dashes and "it's not x, it's y."
I'm so sick of it, man.
Why are our social services tools so broken?
I've been trying for months to get my mom signed up for dental insurance and have abandoned the process so many times due to dead ends, unclear documentation, and outdated systems that feel designed to make you give up.
