Damp in Birmingham - a few of the #BCNMarathonChallenge boats tied-up on the Main Line, including winner @NBtattylucy @nbfirefly and Grand Union motor Corolla.
So that is day one of the #BCNChallenge done for us. Most of it spent on the northern reaches, and in the main all very good, apart from Walsall locks of course, they are never good.
We will be doing the #bcnchallenge again for the first time since 2019
What’s the big boating event this weekend?! Yeah well @CRTBoating #CrickBoatShow I suppose, but it’s also the annual #BCNMarathonChallenge. Over 25 boats will be cruising as much of the BCN as possible. This year’s finish will be at Hawne Basin on Sunday afternoon.

Plans have been unveiled for the development of a riverside beach resort in the heart of Worcester.
The pop-up resort will contain a number of leisure facilities including food outlets, sunbed hire and a gift shop.
