“Everyone you play against is going to have the will to win. The most important thing is to have the will to prepare to win. Preparation to win is much more important than the will to win. But if you combine the preparation and the will, I get chills thinking about it,” Mike Krzyzewski

The NDCL varsity team had 3 scrimmages since the weather has been so amazing this past week ☀️ I have been working on speed, stealing bases and bunting with plate discipline with 4 walks.
I also had the opportunity to work with @jenna_kate00 on hitting and fielding and got to attend the @BallStateSB vs @ZipsSB softball game !
It’s been hard to balance life lately, but I managed to work hard to get straight A’s for the 3rd quarter, and find time for family and friends !
Looking forward to our scrimmage against Hudson on our home turf tomorrow !

"If it were just about talent, recruiting would be easy.
Talent gets me in the gym to see them, but it's all the other things.
For me, are they unselfish?
Are they a great teammate?
Do they understand that it's not about them?"
Talent gets you noticed-character gets you recruited
