WATCH | Crime Watch, I would like to encourage members of the public to remain vigilant when travelling at night. Today, 12 July, at around 2:00 AM, I was almost hijacked near Tsungwesi River, between Nyazura and Odzi. The suspects were driving a Toyota RunX/Alex with registration number AES 6625. They attempted to block both the front and side of my vehicle in an effort to box me in. Fortunately, there was no vehicle behind me, which allowed me to reverse and avoid being trapped. As I was reversing, one of the individuals got out of the vehicle in front carrying a metal object. I managed to escape the scene, and the suspects then made a U-turn and attempted to chase my vehicle. Fortunately, they were unable to catch up with me. I intend to file an official police report tomorrow. I am sharing this to alert other motorists to be cautious, especially when travelling through that area at night. @PoliceZimbabwe

PLEASE SHARE🙏 | Hello admin plz hide my id. Help me share what I experienced this weekend Good morning family ROBBERY WARNING Yesterday at 3 am, I was driving from Norton to Botswana. I was cornered by thieves in a Honda Fit in Kadoma. What happened is that, as I was approaching the last bus stop in Kadoma, Ngezi turn off, a Honda Fit encroached into my lane, coming from the opposite side. I tried to avoid a head on by driving off the road into that bus stop. But I quickly realized that the driver of this Honda Fit was not drunk or sleeping but had intentions to corner me. He had very bright lights that can blind you. With nowhere to go, I had to go for a head on. When he saw that I wasn't going to stop, then he drove back into his lane and sped off. When I arrived at the Kadoma tollgate, I narrated my story to a gentleman who was collecting my tollgate fee, only to be told that I should thank God for not having stopped there as so many people have been robbed and car windows and screens smashed. He said the area is known for such crime and the Honda Fit driver and its occupants were on a mission. Please be warned. @PoliceZimbabwe
