Why did we build it?

.@FCBarcelona has just launched Barça Fan Lab, developed with @Andamio_teams using Cardano.
Fans will be able to learn about Barça’s history and values, take part in community activities, and gain verifiable digital credentials that will be stored in their own Cardano-based portfolio.
Supported through @Catalyst_OnX Fund 13, the initiative will also explore new approaches to digital communities, loyalty, collectibles and fan participation.

GM #Cardano - you're in the news!
Today we launch the Barça Fan Lab: fcbarcelona.com/en/club/news…
We've spent the last two years working behind the scenes to bring one of the world's biggest brands to Cardano, and today we're live.
Thank you to everyone at Barça Vision, Andamio, and UTXOS for bringing the project to life.
This journey is just beginning, and we'll continue to tell the story of this project in the weeks to come. It's a story about a vision we share, the relationships we've built, our technical achievements, and where we're going next.
For now, try it: lab.barcavision.fcbarcelona.…

This Friday, @nelson_ksh and I will share the latest updates on Andamio at Cardano Developer Office Hours.
We'll share:
1. Why Andamio enables a new kind of utility on Cardano - and how you can use it, today
2. How you can vibe code your own bespoke app atop Andamio without doing all the heavy lifting that Cardano development usually requires
3. How Andamio allows you to build new systems that move at human speed, even while integrating with AI for everything it's good at
Examples, demos and calls to action, this one is gonna be fun. And if you can't make it, hit me up, we can plan a session for you too!
🚀 Exploring Andamio
Join Andamio co-founders Nelson Kshetrimayum and James Dunseith this Friday at Dev Office Hours for a look at Andamio v2 + Agentic Workflows.

Replying to @andamioseb
@andamioseb, long-time Cardano contributor, will be at @buidler_fest Argentina.
As a member of @IntersectMBO Open Source Committee (OSC) and co-founder of @andamio_teams, he brings both ecosystem-level stewardship and hands-on infrastructure building.
At the OSC, he works on the policies, programs, and funding frameworks that make Cardano’s open source ecosystem structurally sustainable, ensuring maintainers and builders have what they need to keep Cardano running and evolving.
At Andamio, he’s helping build Cardano’s credentialing infrastructure, enabling organizations to issue portable, verifiable credentials that give contributors true ownership of their professional reputation.
This combination (shaping open source strategy while building production infrastructure) is exactly what strengthens gatherings like Buidler Fest.
If you’re attending, he'll love connect with you to talk about the future of Cardano open source, the Open Source Committee, or Andamio.

With the goal of bringing the ideas of @andamio_teams to life, we've been learning a lot about AI-driven development.
While diving with deep curiosity into these systems, I keep noticing the overlap between teaching students and training agents.
Today I started a blog about it, and this is the first post: jamesdunseith.substack.com/p…

From the desk of @jamesdunseith, Andamio co-founder:
"In 2025, Andamio built the foundation of an infrastructure that did not exist before. In architecture, of course, a strong foundation is necessary but not sufficient to build a finished product. Strong "scaffolding" is required to build the rest, and that's exactly what "andamio" means.
Thank you to everyone who tested with us, gave feedback, and navigated this new system. Thank you to our first 176 network members, to everyone who contributed to a project, wrote a lesson, or simply learned something new.
Now that we've navigated the early stages of product development, we're excited to share Andamio with the world in 2026. We'll be running global cohorts of Andamio Pioneers, building alongside @FCBarcelona and @Syngenta, and introducing #Cardano to deeply engaged groups of people who are committed to solving real problems.
Wishing you all the best for the end of this year. See you in '26!"
Today our technical team published “Andamio: 2025 Reflection", a technical retrospective driven by real data on users, transactions, and new components built throughout the year.
This retro comes straight from the technical team building @andamio_teams. Special thanks to @nelson_ksh K. for taking the initiative and sharing these insights with the community.

Hi everyone. We are Andamio.
Andamio's core mission is to "Build great teams" by de-risking the hiring process for both teams/organizations and contributors.
Our focus is on Trial-Based Hiring Process: 1) Create a project, 2) Show how to contribute, 3) Onboard team members, and 4) Try working together.
👍If a trial works out, the contributor is onboarded, trust is established, and the team is already working together.
👍If it doesn't work out, work still got done, and the contributor still built a professional identity.
Trusted by teams including:
✅@FCBarcelona, the famous sports team.
✅@Syngenta, the giant agri-tech company.
✅Toha Network (toha.network/), the New Zealand’s innovative digital public infrastructure network.

If you use open-source software, take a moment to thank the developers.
Most contributors and maintainers aren’t doing it for revenue. They’re sharing ideas, scratching an itch, and hoping it’s useful to others. Putting work out there takes courage and invites criticism by default.
Maintainers mostly hear about bug reports and feature requests. They rarely get to see the positive impact their work has.
As the year wraps up, consider thanking a project or maintainer you rely on. Sometimes a simple ⭐ on GitHub already means a lot.

Last week taught us that being a Cardano SPO is no walk in the park — managing infra is complex.
What happens when we add 10+ partner-chains + Midgard + Hydra + bridges + oracles? How do we unify operations without compromising decentralization?

Whenever something unexpected happens, the usual rumours and hot takes start flying. Let’s ground everything in clear facts instead of noise.
Yes, this was a serious incident. But the network demonstrated its resilience, stayed online, and the ecosystem responded with speed and professionalism.
And importantly, this wasn’t a random “vibe coder” accident: it was a deliberately crafted transaction by a technically knowledgeable individual.
Here are the myths vs facts everyone should know 🧵
