Since getting a concussion, I've had to learn some things about screens. For prolonged use higher refresh rate helps but I finally figured out the other piece of the puzzle. I've joined the ranks of people sensitive to PWM which is a common method to dim screens below 100%.
If you've been suffering from screen use post-concussion, there's a high probability your phone uses PWM and about a 50/50 chance on laptop screens. Either leave brightness at 100% or research alternatives! #postconcussion #concussion #pulsewidthmodulation
