$Ionq UK just released its quantum roadmap for space.
The report recommends five clear and urgent actions (not in any order of priority):
First, accelerate the adoption of quantum-safe security across ground
and space segments and support in-orbit demonstrations of quantum key
distribution, leveraging UK strengths in photonics-led payload development.
Second, prioritise quantum timing as a sovereign capability by investing in
technology maturation and flight demonstration, and preparing for integration
into future PNT architectures.
Third, advance quantum sensing technologies
aligned to clear mission demand through targeted integration programmes and
early-orbit demonstrations, prioritising compact and efficient designs.
Fourth, strengthen the enabling foundations that allow quantum technologies to reach
orbit, including supply chains, qualification infrastructure, standards and work-force capability.
Fifth, maintain strategic engagement with quantum computing through algorithm development and requirement shaping while avoiding
premature space-specific deployment.

We've received $7.5 million in follow-on funding from the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), reflecting the strength of our partnership and the value of our full-stack approach.
The Phase 2 contract with AFRL expands upon the first-generation quantum network we previously delivered in Rome, New York, adding advanced optical, hardware, and software layers for real-world deployment.
“We are building quantum networking that runs on standard telecom infrastructure and through open air, and proving it on a live network,” said @jordan_shapiro, IonQ President, Quantum Platform.

It’s a beautiful day to set sail with the next pieces of Neutron flight hardware to Launch Complex 3.
Earlier today we sent Neutron’s Stage 2 and Thrust Module out of the Neutron Factory and onto a barge for transport through Chesapeake Bay to Wallops Island in Virginia.
Once it arrives, the Thrust Module will go straight onto the launch mount at LC-3 for check outs and the beginning of wider systems demonstrations including integrated fluids tests and module-to-launch-mount interface checkouts. With no strongback on the launch mount by design, Neutron’s Thrust Module is the rocket’s only physical interface to the launch pad, which this upcoming test campaign enables us to test early before the entire vehicle comes together.
