Overall I liked it. It has a lot of flaws but at the end of the day it was still entertaining and I loved the family dynamic this time around. For me that was enough to balance out the negatives. I like to describe it as great sequences strung together by a loose thread

It's interchangeable with 4 as my favorite sequel. Jessica has a criminal lack of screen time, but her as a killer, the motive, and the kills are top notch. It also have the home invasion scene in Sidney's house, which is a franchise best type of scene.
