Happy 300th birthday to #RichardPrice, minister of our @NGMeetingHouse in the 18th century, recently commemorated by an @EnglishHeritage Blue Plaque 🥳
You can visit the plaque at 54 Newington Green!
We were delighted to gather at the unveiling of an @EnglishHeritage Blue Plaque to Richard Price, minister of our @NGMeetingHouse in the 18th century, along with @thehuwedwards @jeremycorbyn and many others.

The 994th @EnglishHeritage Blue Plaque is unveiled to Revd Richard Price at his terraced home, built a hundred years before him in 1668, just over the Islington border in Newington Green. Price was minister @NGMeetingHouse and friend of Mary Wollstonecraft and Founding Fathers.

I volunteered for @newunity today. It was my first volunteering experience in the UK. I could offer only a few hours, but it was pretty rewarding. I am so thankful to have found a good community.
We've just updated the talks page on the New Unity website!
Catch up on talks and readings from the last few weeks.

Here’s a snap from a recent child dedication ceremony at our historic Newington Green Meeting House. A special day was had by all!
Rather than hold Christian-style baptisms or christenings, we opt for child dedication ceremonies instead.
Our child dedication ceremonies are usually crafted by the parents, the family, and our Minister. Many will include a blessing for the new life of the child, an expression of the parent or parents’ hopes for the child, + a promise by the congregation to support/nurture the child.
Whoever you are, and whatever you believe, you are welcome here.
Contact Nick on [email protected] in the first instance to check availability – then speak to our Minister Rev. CJ McGregor to plan the ceremony.
Come along to the Newington Green Meeting House any time from 7pm to 1am on Saturday December 31st for food, drink, games and reflective activities for the year ahead. Friends and family welcome (including pets), drop by for a bit or stay the whole evening!
If you're coming along to the New Year's Eve event, please RSVP (to [email protected]) and say if you're bringing other people.
Please also email Emily if you're up for volunteering to help out with activities etc.
Thanks for organising, Grace!
Just look at our cupboard, everyone 😃
Huge thanks to all at @newunity who made donations. I'll be delivering this to the @HackneyFoodbank on Wednesday.
Keep em coming!!!
