Ms Kanchan Prasad, Director General, @CBC_MIB, visited the School of Communications and Arts, University of São Paulo (ECA/USP), today and held discussions with Prof. Dr. Mário Rodrigues Videira Júnior, Acting Dean, and senior faculty members.
The meeting reviewed ongoing cooperation under the MoUs signed by ECA/USP with the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, and the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), and explored new avenues for academic exchange, online seminars and collaboration in film, television and media education.
DG also invited ECA/USP faculty and students to engage with WAVES Bazaar, the global marketplace for the media and entertainment industry, and to participate in the upcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

The discussions focused on expanding India–Brazil cooperation in the audiovisual sector, including film co-production, investment partnerships and greater collaboration between the creative industries of the two countries.
