In 2023, each household used on average 4.3 baths of water a day. This is at a weekly cost to the State of €5.28 for drinking water and €5.25 for wastewater services, per household. Saving water is essential when supplies are low but it also saves money.

If you would like to find out more about this project, the team from Bohola Community Park was featured in our Mayo Blue Dots film last year. 🔵
📽️ Watch it here: lawaters.ie/blue-dot-program…
The film was made in association with @MayoCoCo, @EUWatersofLIFE and @LIFEprogramme.
Great progress being made by Bohola Community Park in installing a boardwalk around a pond in their local community in Mayo. 👏
Funded by LAWPRO, the pond filters sediment and nutrients coming from a pitch development before the water enters the local Blue Dot waterbodies. 🔵
