The Wolf of NGX is entering a new phase.
We're doubling down on what we already do well:
• Portfolio Updates;
• Deep Dives, Explainers & Narratives;
• Visuals and Infographics;
• Videos and more
All with a new logo and a new look.
At the beginning of this year, my father sat me down and told me: "As a professional, you need to invest in your tools" and it's something I'll never forget.
Most tangible assets (excluding land) depreciate overall, that doesn't stop companies from spending on capex and expansion.
It depends on the circumstances of the individual in question.
That car could improve the speed, quality and quantity of the person's work, improve his quality of life, and very likely keep them motivated.
I get your idea, but I disagree here.
If all you have is N20m, you have no business buying a car of N8m. That is already 40% of your life savings. Your car is a depreciating asset.
Putting 40% of your life savings into one means:
• A large portion of your wealth is immediately at risk of depreciation (often 15–20%+ in the first year).
• You have less liquidity for emergencies, investments, or opportunities.
• Ongoing costs (insurance, fuel, maintenance) become a bigger burden relative to your remaining resources.
Your car should not be more than 10% of your savings.
Only buy an N8 million car if you have a savings of N80 million.

Pharmaceutical Companies: The lads manufacturing drugs
✑ Revenue
Most players recorded double-digit revenue growth, with average topline growth of about 15%, dragged down by May & Baker's relatively weak single-digit growth over the nine-month period.
However, there is an important caveat. All the pharmaceutical companies recorded double-digit revenue growth in Q3 2026. May & Baker grew by 14%, Fidson by 25%, while Mecure and Neimeth both grew by 12%.
May & Baker's relatively weak 9M performance was largely due to a Q1 blip.
Overall, the pharmaceutical companies are growing faster than nominal GDP, which is encouraging.
✑ Asset Turnover
Asset turnover is relatively similar across the companies, with Neimeth being the notable exception.
Interestingly, despite its strong 9M 2026 revenue growth, Neimeth has a relatively low asset turnover of 0.5x. But there is some context here.
The company recently raised equity capital, and its cash position, which forms part of total assets, is relatively high. This is also evident in its cash-to-revenue ratio.
Perhaps as the company deploys some of this cash into productive assets, we could begin to see an improvement in asset turnover and overall efficiency.

Some people bought Aradel at ₦2,000 with "I will NCA" as their consolation.
Cheers to #1166. 🥂
Don't FOMO.
Don't buy a good company at the wrong price.
A great company can still be a terrible investment if you overpay for it.

Look on my face when a founder says 'we don't really need a shareholders' agreement, we are guys !!!
Presco is now below ₦1500, as I said 3 months ago.
That is even below what I was anticipating, but I'll start buying units from here.

If you are doubling down on AI stocks in the US, I’d say take a pause and understand what is unfolding before jumping into the ditch. This isn’t just a dip.
Children don’t be like me, don’t put your rent in the market 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Put it in MMF instead.
I lost 6.67% of my house rent, the pain is sifia.
(Time to find the next rent money and put in the market again sha.)
No business is "zero risk."
Even bonds that are deemed "risk free" come with a small asterisk.
