TW: Pregnancy horror It had been a little over 3 weeks since the rune spat Jayce and Viktor out somewhere far away. They had settled in a small town that welcomed them, ignorant of who they were and, though curious about their stories, just accepted their curt answers.

Jayce is not a jealous person. He isn’t. He has always been secure about the people he dated, and found it childish and unnecessary. So when Viktor one day teases him about it and his “possessiveness”, Jayce immediately gets defensive

(Pt 3) Since that conversation, the lab has changed. Jayce can’t put a finger on it, but something is amiss. Something has shifted. Tilted. The lab floor doesn’t feel as steady as before. A layer of slippery oil now covers it, making Jayce feel like he could trip at any moment.

Viktor doesn’t know how he ended up where he is. Scratch that- he knows the exact combination of steps that led him to be pressed against a bathroom door, being disassembled with the meticulous movements of Jayce’s scalding tongue in his mouth. But he doesn’t understand how.

Jayce had been so stupid. He had drunk too much, had seen how pretty Viktor looked while he giggled away some of the tension, and had decided to open his chest for Viktor to reach in. His tender heart waiting to be held behind his ribcage.

(Pt 4) Jayce doesn’t sleep much that night. He lets himself overthink his behavior towards Vik these past month, and falls into a spiral of guilt. Because he had been indulging in porn and jacking off to his best friend, while inadvertently treating him like shit.
