Almost no modern music has "stuck". I went to my nephew's 21st on Saturday. He's a Stellies student & there were ~150 people (at my sister's house! 😯) and they danced and sang every word to "American Pie", Oasis, The Clash, QOTSA, The Killers, ABBA etc, cos that's what they like

All the music, plus klapping 15 litres of Klippies (and a lot more) between us all, tool me back 20 years. The only difference was that they mix their brandy with Coke Zero and there was literally one person who I saw smoking cigarettes.
