A lovely and heartfelt tribute to a good friend of Emma's. God rest her. Condolences to you Emma, Naomh's family and friends.
I am completely heartbroken by the passing this morning of my very good and wonderful friend, my wee Naomh 💔. We met at the Barrister course at Queen’s University and were inseparable. Naomh was a brilliant woman - a warm, funny and wise friend and a hugely capable person. She had a huge heart, and such a sharp mind. She was much loved and it feels so very unfair that her life ended so early through this terrible sickness in her early 40s. We had so many incredibly fun times, as we navigated those early years as young Barristers and through the twists and turns of life.
I will miss her so much, and mourn so deeply for the years she will not get on this earth. All the love, fun, experiences and joy that Naomhy deserved so much. Now, her pain is gone but she leaves behind such a huge gap in all of our hearts.
My deepest condolences and love also to her husband, Cathal and her Mum, Aunties, sister and cousins and all her family and friends. May God bless them and comfort them at this time of terrible grief.
I also want to recognise all at the Marie Curie Cancer Hospice 💛💛💛- the compassion and professionalism I witnessed was just incredible. I know it will have been deeply appreciated by the family. You all do such incredible work. Thank you so much.
I am heartbroken and I will mourn her loss deeply. x

Imagine Allison Morris a self appointed security correspondent speaking on how to deal with criminals, why is her past dismissed/overlooked & not mentioned?

Chris was a very good friend of mine some years back.
We joined policing together on the 19th June 2000 in Hertfordshire and was an inseparable pair during our probation as new constables in our early 20s.
Chris was a beautiful human being, funny, charismatic, charming, caring & all the qualities you would want from a human.
Sadly, we lost contact over the years as life moved on & we went on different paths.
I was shocked to hear of Chris's passing - I struggled to find out where he was laid to rest, but a year later I found the exact location & very recently went to see him. I spoke & told him how much he is missed.
RIP Orange, my dear friend 🧡💙

Haitian gangs kidnap El Salvador techies.
El Salvador says bring them back or we shoot you.
Gangs laugh. They get shot.
4 days later, gangs want the UN to mediate.

“I am so sorry to hear of the death of Ciara Mageean, at the age of 34 years.
An outstanding athlete and ambassador for her sport, Ciara was born in Portaferry, County Down and represented Northern Ireland and predominantly Ireland on the world stage. Ciara had outstanding success, and was an inspiration to many. She spoke with such honesty and bravery about the health battles she subsequently faced.
I know so many from right across Northern Ireland were deeply proud and inspired by Ciara.
My deepest condolences to her family, teammates and friends, and her husband to whom she had so recently married. May God comfort all those who mourn this deeply sad loss at such a young age.”

I totally condemn vandalism & destruction at Broughshane Playpark and the broken glass strewn across the surface where children run.
What’s wrong with people that they do this to equipment that children enjoy & leave glass lying about that could cause a child a serious injury?
You will never be forgotten mum 13 years on you are missed everyday. Now you are with the Lord, a Lord who you always had great faith in, and you fought Cancer right until your last breath. 🙏

Can confirm.
.@POTUS: "I did speak to him. He said that he has a big problem with Haiti... They killed some of his people. I said, 'You're running your country. You have to do what you have to do.'"

You too, Nigel. You only have to think of your mum and she's there with you, so she never really left you. x

The two families with small children I know best face a constant struggle.
Both sets of parents work flat out, full time, to pay the bills and make sure the kids don’t feel poor.
They pull in good money which would guarantee a nice life in most countries.
Not in broken Britain where hard work is penalised and idleness rewarded.
“The Institute for Fiscal Studies think-tank says this will be the worst decade for household incomes since the Second World War. Are we capable of drawing a line from the individually popular spending increases to this dire fact?”

So lovely Nigel. My mother also died from cancer and she was only 50 and was also a God fearing lady. I know she’s also safe in the arms of our Saviour but I’d also like her to be safe in my arms tonight.
