Replying to @TonyForLP
Fun fact: a Brazilian reporter went to Eduardo Bolsonaro’s home in Texas to ask questions about Flávio’s money laundering, and Eduardo Bolsonaro called ICE to have the reporter arrested.
If the reporter hadn’t held dual citizenship, he would have been deported.

I've talked a lot about Flávio Bolsonaro, the failed Brazilian candidate who fled to Miami this week and declared himself President of Brazil, because, for some reason, THAT'S a thing.
We haven't talked much about his older brother, Eduardo, who is currently a resident of Houston, TX and who many thought was their father's real preferred candidate.
A little background: Eduardo Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician, lawyer, and former federal police officer who served as a Federal Deputy for the state of São Paulo. The third son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, he is a prominent conservative figure in Brazilian politics known for advocating right-wing policies and maintaining close ties with conservative political movements internationally.
In June 2026, the Supreme Court of Brazil unanimously convicted Eduardo Bolsonaro of coercion during a judicial proceeding.
The court sentenced him to four years and two months in prison after prosecutors proved he used his political platform to lobby foreign officials - including members of the Trump administration - to enact sanctions and tariffs on Brazilian officials in an attempt to halt the prosecution of his father, Jair Bolsonaro.
Because Eduardo Bolsonaro has been living in the United States, he was sentenced in absentia, leading Brazilian authorities to declare him at-large, issue an arrest warrant, and request an Interpol notice for his arrest.
So, when people are saying #DeportTheBolsonaros, they are talking about more than Flávio.
To reiterate, the United States should not be harboring fugitives who have done real harm to their home countries. The Bolsonaro brothers should be returned to Brazil to face justice.

Very definition of an impeachable offense
Trump admitted he blocked energy funding to punish blue states he lost in 2024, including $586 million for Illinois.
Courts ruled it illegal. He's still blocking the money.
Bipartisan permitting reform won't work if Trump ignores the law. He must reinstate the grants first.
