"Anyone who has an opinion different to mine needs their head looking at."
Says almost everyone on here almost all the time...
The number of times I’m watching a football match on the box and a commentator gives a stat about a player, to then qualify it with the words “only Mohamed Salah has more…”

If you don't think it's democratic that 33.7% of votes should give a party nearly 64% of the seats in Parliament, then please, sign and share as much as you can. Currently, your vote can be wasted, it can be ignored. Get your voice heard. Equality for all. petition.parliament.uk/petit…

A great player but above all, a great human being.
Only a strong character shows such resilience in those circumstances.

❓If the government admits that First Past the Post is unsuitable for mayoral elections, why does it intend to keep it in place for general elections?
Thank you @sarahjolney1 for raising this issue in Parliament.
Whatever the election, FPTP is not fit for purpose.

Great to see so much support for outsourced workers in Colchester today!

I’ve been saying it for a while - we tax money made with money at a lower rate than we tax money made with a pair of hands. There’s no good reason why, it enriches the already rich, adds to the growing wealth gap, and makes the government less able to spend on public services like health, education, and transport - things upon which all wealth earning is based.
.@rishisunak and @greghands it's time to show leadership in not spreading misleading claims, including about other political parties. I agree with @fullfact👇 fullfact.org/blog/2023/oct/o…
