We keep on working on making Cloudflare‘s service as fast as possible.
Great performance improvement by @rrnn
We've been working on the performance of the Cloudflare STUN service at stun.cloudflare.com. Finally you can see our work on iceperf.com
It's a free, unauthenticated and unlimited "what is my IP as a service"
You can now try OpenAI's new WebRTC real time feature inside a conference call. Thanks to our awesome team you can now try a push-to-talk feature to add OpenAI to your next conference call. Give it a try here demo.orange.cloudflare.dev

In honor of the 12 days of OpenAI, here's a realtime voice assistant in 12 lines of JavaScript! This code uses our new WebRTC support for the Realtime API - just pass in a local stream from getUserMedia(), an <audio> element for output, and an API token.

Cloudflare TURN is no longer in Beta and I had the honor of helping to write a blog post about it:

Hopefully someone tells me I'm wrong, but after testing Chrome's 126 new UDP throttling I see the following issues:
- it only works on UDP and TCP at same time
- it only works when active on page load
- once turned off you can't turn it back on
Did I miss something here?

Chrome dev-tools now supports UDP throttling! Finally! No longer having to alter the connection on the machine rather than just in the browser. This is great news for WebRTC testing.

Apple should put an API around this feature to enable other services/applications (besides FaceTime) using the cam to turn this feature off.

This is a pretty ugly bug in macOS 14.2 if your app allows screen sharing and uses the exclusion feature. mastodon.social/@chockenberr…

Am I the only person who finds the analog static interruptions during video calls in Disneyland Star Wars attraction annoying?
Why would space flying folks still use analog video and not digital?
I’m really excited to finally share that I started today my new job at around.co. I’ll be working on media backend Media Soup to create outstanding user experiences.

#WebRTC support has been merged into @OBSProject! This is going to massively changed the space.
Serverless Streaming - Stream into browsers. No more 'jump servers/other protocols'.
Subsecond-Latency - Interact instantly. Something really magical about immediate response.
Is there a US credit card which gives you points/miles/cash back for health care costs?
Seems like the perfect random, high spending category to me.
