No I didn’t get my asylum because of MDC, MDC Alliance of CCC.
I got my asylum because there were live threats against my life and international law allows me to claim asylum wherever I feel safe in the world.

I have heard different versions about what happened to Marry…
But for me one of the most damning facts is that VP Chiwenga made a complaint against his then wife thru the courts accusing her of attempted murder . Then after that he refused to show up to court which was necessary for the proceedings to continue … he instead chose to hold her at ransom thru the courts causing the case to drag for 7 whole years … Marry lost limb and life in that 7 years …
He didn’t even need to drop the charges he just needed to show up to his own court case.
How cruel can one be !!!

Marry Mubaiwa Chiwenga,the former wife to Vice President CDGN Chiwenga , has been cleared of charges of attempted murder today 27 October 2026. She was being accused of trying to unalive his then husband Constantino Guveya Dominic Nyikadzino Chiwenga.
Soon after her aquittal by the courts , she had an interview with journalist Simba Chikanza of Zimeye.

A mortuary attendant who handled the bodies of 97 victims of the August 11 Mbuya Nehanda ferry disaster says the experience continues to haunt him.
Kangai Chuma told Kasambabezi FM that some victims were his relatives, friends and former classmates. He worked late into the night while struggling to trace missing family members.
Chuma’s experience has raised concerns about mental health support for mortuary workers and other frontline personnel exposed to traumatic events.
