ICYMI - earlier this week we opened applications for our 2021 @bfinetwork Script Lab!
We want to hear from creatives in the North (working in any discipline) with a great idea for a short film & an interest in developing their screenwriting skills.

Great work being done here hot meals prepared by Kent’s Sikh community Gravesend gurdwara, distributed to stranded truckers... in general and esp in coming weeks, the nation very reliant on those currently stuck in the M20/ Manston rain: nitter.gq/khalsa_aid/status/1341…
Our teams are out there in the rain with the @kent_police , coastguard and highways agency distributing hot meals to truck drivers caught up in #OperationStack on M20 !

The importance of this is not fully recognised.
Another shocking report - lots of horrific statistics which are impacting on the day to day lives of children and young people. @povertyproofcne @ChildrenNE @nechildpoverty @HeatherCorlett1 @MindstarsBex @MindstarsMarisa @Mrs_Soulsby

Fantastic news but we mustn't forget how far-reaching the effects fo poverty go. Food is the last thing that families go without, what else have they had to give up before they go hungry? @ChildrenNE @NorthNetChild @nechildpoverty
I am so proud that my motion to #ENDCHILDFOODPOVERTY has just been passed by a landslide with only 2% of MYP's voting against it
Very proud to be working with MYP’s @BenLomas10 @ArdeelMYP & @Isaac_MYP to ensure no child goes hungry!
