It looks like Vance is heading to upstate New York to campaign for Anthony Constantino, who is apparently at risk in a Trump +24 district despite putting in $17 million of his own money
Below from my profile of Constantino, which gives the general flavor

I sat down yesterday in Carson City with Republican Congressman Mark Amodei to talk about why he didn't vote for David Flippo, the GOP nominee to replace him.
"I don't think I've ever not voted for the Republican nominee." Until now.

JD Vance spending the final night of the midterms rallying with *this guy* to save a Trump+21 seat (ravaged by tariffs) is a synecdoche of the Republican Party in 2026.

NEW: @MotherJones obtained records detailing David Flippo's firing from First Command over alleged misconduct.
@MarkAmodeiNV2 on Flippo's defense:
“It’s like, 'Well, I didn’t get fined.' Well, congratulations on that? How come they let you go?”

Left: What David Flippo said in May about getting fired as a financial adviser in 2024.
Right: What previously unreported records I obtained through public records request say happened.
Link to the article on the new records: motherjones.com/politics/202…
And to the Nevada Independent article where he addressed his firing: thenevadaindependent.com/art…
New: Previously unreported records show David Flippo was fired as a financial adviser in 2024 after being accused of “willful misrepresentations and/or omissions of material fact.”
Flippo has downplayed the firing. The records tell a different story.

NEW: @MotherJones consulted a forensic accountant who testified in the Madoff case about Arizona Land Reserve, tied to @DavidFlippoNV.
He called its promised 20% returns a “huge red flag.”
The firm gave $100K to pro-Flippo PACs. His brother loaned $340K to a related venture.
New: I spoke to experts about a land venture closely tied to Nevada Republican David Flippo.
Here's what they said: “Insanity.” “A huge red flag.” “Feasibility is zero.” “A batshit crazy-ass idea.” ow.ly/nXl55100aAy

There is no shortage of Trump-backed candidates this cycle drowning in election scandals.
Take Nevada Republican David Flippo, who, since 2023, repeatedly failed to file legally required financial disclosure forms. After our report, Flippo provided a handwritten disclosure to the Nevada Independent. But it raised more questions than answers.

New: A 20-year-old conservative loaned most of her savings to an Arizona land venture. When it came due, the founder said he needed new investors to pay her off. Then he co-founded a company that has close ties to Nevada Republican David Flippo.

FWIW, @TheNVIndy did publish these documents in links within our reporting.
We have yet to receive the full DD-214 form to review.

I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank.
The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.

Bob Seale, the one-time chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against David Flippo, raising questions about his personal finances and campaign finance reports.
More here: washingtonpost.com/politics/…
Along with the accusations of stolen valor, this article I reported on Flippo's ties to an alleged fraudster gets at some of what Amodei is referring to.

The quote is from retiring Nevada Rep. Mark Amodei (R-NV) about a House candidate, per WSJ and local reporting. It is not from Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei.

As Mother Jones prepared to publish an investigation about allegations of physical abuse against three women by Ohio Republican Rep. Max Miller, his crisis communications adviser warned @abbyvesoulis that Miller has “many defamation lawyers.”
The possible implication seemed clear: Publish a story that reflected poorly on Miller and potentially face legal consequences. motherjones.com/politics/202…
Some key points from this investigation:
-David Flippo's biggest known asset is a company that resembles SEC criteria for a likely "scam"
-He appeared to represent its interests at pitch meetings
-The company and co-founders spent lavishly on his behalf

We still don’t know where the $1.6M that David Flippo claims to have lent his campaign really came from.
But @NLenard found that his campaign has benefitted enormously from a company that has the hallmarks of a scam, and from the company’s co-founder, who been accused of fraud.
New: David Flippo’s largest known asset is in a company co-founded by an accused fraudster.
The firm and its associates have funneled hundreds of thousands to Flippo’s campaign and pro-Flippo groups.
