We should hold a major event in every state where every female athlete who lost a team spot, title, scholarship, medal, or opportunity to a male can register her story. Verify it, document it, and honor her publicly.
Then give those girls and women the medals they should have received.
We cannot give them back the time, the seasons, the records, or the opportunities they lost. But we can stop pretending it did not happen.
It should happen for the women displaced in the Rio Olympics 800 meter final too.

Here's another truth.
As far as I can tell, the majority of the Administration is just interested in fighting over who defines the Republican party after Trump and seizing the narrative ground post-midterms. A lot of behind-the-scenes infighting is about this.
All the while Democrats are hellbent on "structural reform" and "accountability" which is a nice way of saying they intend to tear down our Republic and jail us.
Republicans need to wake up. There will be no Republican party left to lead if you are fighting each other over who inherits it, while the Democrats dismantle our country. Start defending our nation instead. Stop the coup.
