ATF says it will no longer require prior approval, tax stamps, or registration in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapons” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). The change applies nationwide, not only to the parties in the related lawsuit. ATF will still accept voluntary Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, and Form 4 submissions for those items.
Shit lads, something finally happened.
