sigh.. i’ll do it.. i’ll start posting again… at least it’ll be to 5 ppl and not 4k ghost followers 😭.. i much prefer low engagement with low follower numbers, if engagement is low with a high follower count it feels like that jester gif trying to impress the king

So much of trying to unlearn perfectionism in art is about “No one will look that closely at your details/mistakes” and in the age of ai it’s just no longer true and that makes me unbelievably sad

I genuinely suck at sketching, at composition, at perspective, at making lineart, at shading, at controlling contrast, at adding details, at drawing backgrounds, at mantaining a consistent style, at adding texture, at adding highlights but i persevere

Hello I am old. Is OC a different thing now than it was? ORIGINAL CHARACTER? I have 100+ of them. A story needs a bunch of characters. How can a full cast all be you? Why do you people just have 1? Are you just making 1-oc ever? Are yall confusing a persona or avatar with that?🥸
Still a firm believer that one’s oc reflects either how the creator sees themself and/or who they aspire to become, and you can usually tell from the oc’s appearance

I do kind of wish people were more open to the concept of ocs being a lot less personal than people assume. not everyone's characters are reflections of themselves. a lot of people create characters to fit in narratives. not every oc posted online is a self insert.

カメラをぐるぐる回しながら絵が描けるツールを作ったので、ぜひ使ってみてほしいです! 「ぐるりペイント」 tools.neco-sara.com/tools/gu…

I love accidentally saying "I believe" "I think" "I imagine" when talking about characters I made because then I always get to use the same clip on myself

Characters should absolutely be allowed to be problematic or do and say bad things while being overall good people because that is the reality of how humans are. Expecting uncomplication in characters means that you expect bad, juvenile writing that spells out morality for you.
